AI Showcase
At DelCor, we’ve been holding 15 to 30-minute lunch and learns where staff showcase how they’re using AI in their daily work.
Sometimes we share a cool new feature we discovered and shed some light on how successful it’s been. Other times, we discuss some of the issues or roadblocks we’ve encountered. It’s been a powerful and low effort strategy for sharing knowledge and expertise across the organization. It has also encouraged informed experimentation and showcased how we can use AI to improve our work and better support our clients.
We encourage you to join in the age-old tradition of show-and-tell to foster learning and growth within your organization.
GCSE Prompt Framework—Small Habit, Big Results
A simple way to improve the responses you receive from Copilot (or whatever generative AI technology you’re using) is to use the GCSE framework:
- Goal: What it is you’re hoping to achieve (e.g. draft a 150-word program brief).
- Context: Provide perspective (“act like an IT Director”), link or attach any examples like a program brief or requirements.
- Scope: Include your timeframe, audiences, and sources.
- Expectation: Provide the preferred tone, reading level, and format.
Using the GCSE framework helps you write better prompts that provide much clearer direction and refine the kinds of responses you get.

Already on Office 365 E3 or Microsoft 365 Business Premium?
You can sign in at copilot.microsoft.com (or through Bing/Edge) and start exploring Copilot today! It’s a simple way to practice prompting and see what AI can do for your team. So long as you and your staff have some basic training and education on how to keep your organizational data safe while using AI, there’s no reason you shouldn’t be experimenting with Copilot and utilizing its capabilities. Just remember: this free web version won’t pull in your organization’s emails, files, or Teams chats. For that deeper integration with full functionality—where Copilot works right inside Word, Outlook, and Teams—you’ll need the Copilot for Microsoft 365 addon.

Safety (and Security!) First
“The most common issues our IT Service Desk has resolved over the last three months have involved multi-factor authentication (MFA) and general issues with file, program, or network access. It’s important to remember that phishing emails are still a serious concern, and unfortunately, they can lead to account compromise and other problems. So, stay vigilant and stay safe out there!”
