If we had to pick one organization that represents DelCor’s professional home, it would be ASAE, the association for association executives and those who serve them.
Many of us contribute our time and talents as ASAE leaders, volunteers, and speakers. You can count on seeing our exhibit booth and usual trade show shenanigans at every ASAE Annual Meeting & Expo and ASAE Technology Conference & Expo.
Or you can see us at the other ASAE conferences we always attend: Great Ideas Conference; Membership, Marketing & Communications Conference; and Finance, HR, & Business Operations Conference.
Not a week goes by when one of us isn’t doing something ASAE-related, but every now and then we participate in a special ASAE project.

ASAE Wall of Social Responsibility
DelCor is the sole sponsor of ASAE’s Wall of Social Responsibility. The wall is a virtual symbol of associations’ and industry partners’ support for contributing to a socially responsible world. On the wall, you or your association can upload images, text, or a short video that represents your individual or organizational commitment to a socially responsible world. Through spreading the word of social responsibility and the sharing of ideas, DelCor believes the wall will help foster growth and create new opportunities for individuals and organizations to give.
ASAE African Study Mission
In April 2011, 14 association professionals from across Africa embarked on a week-long study mission at ASAE to develop their association management skills, learn about the aspects of strong and self-sustaining membership organizations, share their successes, and form mentoring relationships with US-based association executives. DelCor and The Signature Group supported their learning by providing iPads for each of the 14 attendees, giving them easy access to meeting materials, apps, and each other. After completing the study, the participants took their new iPads and knowledge home to share with their compatriots. Read more about the mission in ASAE’s InTouch newsletter.
ASAE Leadership
Our staff regularly attends and speaks at ASAE educational events, but several of us also have served as ASAE volunteer leaders. Here is just a sampling:
- Loretta M. DeLuca, DelCor founder and CEO, was named an ASAE Fellow in 2007 – an honor, bestowed upon less than 1% of ASAE’s membership, that’s a recognition of her leadership and contribution to the association community and a call to continued service.
- Dave Coriale, DelCor president, is the immediate past chair of ASAE's Technology Council, having served as chair for the 2010-2011 term. He was also a member of ASAE’s Membership Development Committee from 2000 to 2003 and served as chair for the 2003-2004 term.
- Senior Consultant Tobin Conley has served on ASAE’s Professional Development Council since 2008 and will be chair for the 2012-2013 term.
Are you an ASAE member? If you’d like to talk to one of us about the impact membership has made on our careers and lives, please call us today; we’d love to chat.
