Loretta M. DeLuca, FASAE | CEO

Loretta M. DeLuca, FASAE, is the founder, co-owner, and CEO of DelCor Technology Solutions, Inc. The business, initially started in 1984, was called PC Innovators, and specialized in database development projects and network implementations. In 1987, Ms. DeLuca re-incorporated when she took on a partner, and subsequently began specializing in providing technology management consulting and network systems services to nonprofit organizations.

Ms. DeLuca is an American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Fellow, a distinguished designation that represents consistent contributions and leadership in the association community. For almost 20 years, she has volunteered in many capacities in the industry, including as past Chair of ASAE’s Technology Council; a past member of ASAE’s Industry Partner Alliance, Professional Development Council, and Executive Council; and the Association Forum of Chicagoland’s Association Technology Advisory Task Force. She has also served on the boards of ASAE and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic.

Ms. DeLuca has been involved in a number of fundraising and educational programming activities and has participated on several planning committees and task forces. Additionally, she founded the Association Data Standards Consortium in 2003, a national effort to benefit the community by creating standards for the vendors that develop and implement software applications for the association/nonprofit community. The effort has since been adopted by ASAE; a task force to support it was formed and is co-chaired by Ms. DeLuca.

On a pro bono basis, her assistance ranges from providing advice to low-budget organizations on technology and business process issues to leading a fit analysis effort with the AFL-CIO to help model a membership management system for the union industry.

Since 2003, Ms. DeLuca and DelCor have organized and carried out a food drive to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank. Each year, the numbers of participating organizations in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and their donations have grown. In 2010, more than 27,000 pounds of food were collected.

Ms. DeLuca regularly presents education sessions on a variety of technology-related topics at special interest groups and industry conferences, including ASAE’s Annual Conference, Technology Conference and Great Ideas Conference. She has also published articles in Associations Now, Forum and the former Executive Update (GWSAE) magazines. Ms. DeLuca co-authored a chapter entitled "Records Management and Database Issues" in Membership Operations, a book published by ASAE.
